Group Descriptions:
Social and Play Skills Group: For ages 0-6 years and their caregivers. This group focuses on fostering and supporting your child's social and play skills in a safe and engaging play environment. It is considered "child-led" and staff will only intervene on an as-needed basis. Parents are to supervise their child(ren) at all times, however, are encouraged to ask questions, as the occupational therapist will be present for the duration of the group. Questions may relate to fine motor or gross motor skill development, social interactions, play skills, and more.
Newborn Play Group: This is a free group for newborns (0-12 weeks) and their caregivers. The group runs every Tuesday 10:30am-11:30am and is led by Kayla Kim, MOTR/L. We will discuss developmentally appropriate play ideas for your little one, as well as provide a safe space for questions, concerns, and connection.
Mini Movers Baby Play Group: This group focuses on providing developmentally appropriate play activities for babies age 3-12 months and their caregivers (pre-walking). It is a four week series led by occupational therapist, Kayla Kim, MOTR/L. Each week will cover a new topic (ex. play positions, transition to solids, sleep, sensory exposure, and more) and support caregivers in fostering their child's play and learning.
